The Pineal Gland - The Blue Pearl

The Pineal Gland – The Blue Pearl

Hello lovely you!

I’m home after a few sunny days relaxing and walking the beautiful white beaches in Florida. We got plenty of Vitamin D and slept to the sound of the ocean. It was a great get-a-way.  Little Zuzu was so excited to see us. A big thank you to Mercy, who takes excellent care of her while we are away.

My tea is steaming, and I’m ready to write.

The Pineal Gland Series Continues:

We’ve been talking about the importance of your pineal gland and how it can help not only your physical health, but also your spiritual health. I wanted to end this series by talking about Pranic Healing, which is something that combines your physical body and spiritual or energetic body to bring about balance and healing.

I am actually certified in Pranic healing, and during my training, they taught us all about the pineal gland. The masters I learned from call the pineal gland the “Blue Pearl.”

Siddha yoga guru, Swami Muktananda, referred to the blue pearl as “the light that illuminates the mind, that illuminates everything.” Other enlightened ones have said that the blue pearl contains the entire universe and divinity within the individual. We were instructed to meditate upon the blue pearl within to experience our true selves and our real potential. This is the first step to becoming a Pranic healer.

What is Pranic Healing, Exactly?

A time will come when science will make tremendous advances, not because of better instruments for discovering things, but because a few people will have at their command great spiritual powers, which at the present are seldom used. Within a few centuries, the art of spiritual healing will be increasingly developed and universally used.”

  • Gustaf Stromberg, scientist, astronomer, author

Prana is the Sanskrit word for lifeforce. You may have heard the Chinese refer to this lifeforce energy as ‘chi.’ From this force, everything is created. To change something that has been created, such as a disease, you don’t do it through physical means but through energetic or spiritual means.

Pranic healing is a natural healing system that uses prana to heal illness. Someone can use Pranic healing on you, and you can use it on yourself. It is truly empowering.

Have You Ever Met Your Own Lifeforce?

You are reading this blog post, so you know you are alive. But are you filled with your own life force? You were as a child. That’s why so many people love being around small children, because they are full to the brim of a special divine energy; they are filled with their lifeforce.

But we get to a certain age and everyday life sucks our life force right out of us. We become filled with a kind of fake energy. Kind of like the difference between the energy we feel after 2 cups of coffee vs the energy we feel after a great night of sleep. One is real, one is fake.

Everything is Made of Energy

While your body and the world around you looks solid, everything is actually made of energy and all of this energy is vibrating at different frequencies. The interesting thing about energy is, it cannot be created or destroyed – it can only be transformed.

Think about that.

Not only does this mean your lifeforce goes on after death, but it also means that while still alive, you can transform negative energy into positive energy; dis-ease into health. Once you truly understand that your body is not really physical like you think it is but energetic, you begin to recognize the power of Pranic Healing, which is ENERGY healing. Transform your energy, transform your health and life!

The chakras are the energy centers of your body and your pineal gland is the top crown chakra. It acts like a sensor – sensing the prana or energy in everything. Through meditation and experimentation, you will become more aware of your own energy and the energy in all things.

Getting Started with Pranic Healing at Home

Trained Pranic healers do not use their own energy to heal others; they access and transmit universal energy to their patient using specific frequencies and techniques for specific diseases and conditions. Nobody else can really heal your body, but your body can heal itself. Think about it: surgeons can cut parts out and ER docs can put a cast on a broken arm, but they do NOT heal you, your body heals all by itself. This is lifeforce energy or prana at work. Tapping into Prana taps into your body’s innate ability to heal itself at all levels: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

While I encourage you to find a certified Pranic healer in your area to work with, you can actually get started by yourself at home.

The first thing we are taught in Pranic healing is that without lifeforce or life energy, no healing can take place. So where do we get this lifeforce energy from? Well of course, from the one divine source and creator, but it comes to us via different channels: the food we eat, the sun, air and earth, and also from the people in our lives.

food we eat, the sun, air and earth, and also from the people in our lives.

The most important things you can do for your own energetic healing are:

  1. Plug up your energy holes.

There are people in your life right now that are energy vampires. Some don’t mean to be, they are just needy and they instinctively know they can come talk to you and always feel better. Sure, they feel better because you, without knowing it, actually and literally gave them some of your energy or lifeforce. They leave with more and you have less.

If you are trying to heal from a disease you must be 100% SELFISH. S.E.L.F.I.S.H!!!!! You MUST take care of yourself right now. You must protect your energy and lifeforce from everyone and everything. It is, quite literally, the most important and valuable thing you have. No lifeforce, no life. Stop giving your life away, you need that energy to heal.

  1. Get more lifeforce

I am not suggesting you become an energy vampire and suck it out of others. Look to nature to fill up with energy. First, stop eating processed garbage that gives you only fake energy and eat whole foods that give you real energy.

I also urge you to spend much more time out in nature. You need clean air and the sun on your skin for vitamin D. If it’s warm where you are, take your shoes off and walk barefoot on the grass or sand. The earth is literally groundingbut we don’t get it’s energy with our shoes on all day.

  1. Visualize

What part of your body needs healing? Visualize yourself sending it Prana. This can mean seeing it bathed in pure white or golden light, or seeing pulsating waves of light pouring into it. Use your imagination and spend time each day sending your body fresh energy.

  1. Meditate on your Blue Pearl

I hope you have started decalcifying your pineal gland as it will help you better sense energy in and all around you. I also encourage you to begin or deepen your meditation practice. This is very important. This is how you get to know your higher self. This is how you understand on a deep level that the world is made up entirely of energy that cannot be destroyed, only transformed. This is how you really begin to transform your health and your entire life.

Sending you love, light and Prana…

  1. It is NOT common to see it. Some of us see a bluish purple color and others feel it. Whatever your spiritual sensitivities are is what you will see , feel or sense at the time. Each time can be different.
There are no rules. Never compare what you see or feel with others. This is YOUR special moment. Be in the moment and enjoy the beautiful energy of the blue pearl.

    Many blessings.

  2. is it common to see the blue pearl when meditating, Or have you achieved a higher level of meditation

Don’t Deny Your Feelings

It’s the holidays and everyone seems to be in such good moods, and you hate to spoil the fun with your darkness. You don’t want to feel dark; you want to feel like everyone else seems to.

Denying feelings is an impulse for many (if not most) people. But it’s not healthy and it will truly only make things worse. When we don’t process our feelings, they tend to linger.

Denying feelings is an impulse for many (if not most) people. But it’s not healthy and it will truly only make things worse. When we don’t process our feelings, they tend to linger.

Whether you are dealing with your own health crisis, have a loved one who is, or have recently lost someone you love, coping with grief during the holidays can make you feel like you are in a nightmarish funhouse. Everything seems to move in slow motion, people have plastered smiles on their faces, holiday music seems to play from every corner of the Universe, and all you feel like doing is crying.

You are not alone during this time. Sadly, there are many people who are facing loneliness, grief and depression during the holidays.
While there is no magic wand or silver bullet that will make the pain go away, there are some things I have found that make coping a little bit easier:

- Don’t Deny Your Feelings
- Say “NO” When You Need To
- Identify Those Things You CAN Control
- Ask for Help
- Help Others

Good morning, lovely you!

I cannot believe we are almost to the end of October! Before you know it, we’ll be stuffing our faces with stuffing and pie! And while many of us will be lucky enough to enjoy the holiday season with our friends and family, many people will be dealing with grief and sadness at the same time.

It's important to remember that each person has their own journey, and those paths don't always make time for holidays. Whether it's cancer, a breakup, or just a bad situation, we should all try to spread hope and love and life wherever we go.

Deal with Your Stress

We can’t talk about boosting your immune system without talking about stress. Because the truth is, chronic stress is the number 1 enemy of your immune system.

I’ve discussed the “fight or flight” response our body has to stress in other blog posts. But to quickly summarize, when we find ourselves in harms’ way, our body has a chemical reaction that helps us either fight the danger or flee from the danger. This automatic response is what helped our ancestors survive attacks by sabre-tooth tigers and such.

But now we don’t have the same kinds of dangers in our environment. We have mortgage payments, tyrannical bosses, COVID-19, working from home stress and 24/7 media hype! These stressors stay in our environment, which leads to a lengthened chemical response in our body, and that leads to chronic inflammation.

But a prolonged response to stress also suppresses the very immune cells that are needed to fight off infection and illness.

I CANNOT STRESS how important it is to deal with the stress in your life in healthy ways. Meditation is a powerful way to deal with stress. Deep breathing exercises, physical exercise, and spending time in nature are also great ways to deal with stress. And if you find you need to speak to a mental health counselor, do it. Your health is on the line.

If you’re one of my readers that always says, “I know, I know, I should be better about supporting my immune system,” then consider me right now giving you a friendly kick in the pants to just DO IT already!

Much love and health to you!

Polyphenols

Decades of research have now confirmed that polyphenols, powerful plant compounds, have very positive effects on the immune system. Without getting too science-y, the body’s mucosal layer is its first line of defense against invading pathogens. But this layer, over time, can become susceptible to structural abnormalities, which negatively impacts the immune system’s initial response. Polyphenols protect this mucosal layer, thereby helping your immune system to do its job!

To get more polyphenols into your diet, be sure to add berries, dark chocolate, beans, nuts, red onions, spinach, black and green tea and red wine to your diet!
