Monday Morning Moody Blues

Monday Morning Moody Blues?

Is it… Good Morning, Lovely You, or, doom and gloom and you are you saying to yourself, “Oh, no, not another Monday?”

Do you have a case of the Monday Morning Moody Blues? It is a real thing.

Mondays are tough for some of us. It seems like all of our weekend fun ends abruptly, and we have to face another long workweek. Life seems harder on Mondays.

There’s nothing like a few words of encouragement to inspire you to change your state and welcome every new day as if it was a Saturday or Sunday.

Here are 5 inspiration changes you can make to change the Monday Moody Blues.

1. Get your groove back

Don’t be passive and accept whatever comes along and think that this is your lot in life. Challenges are not in your life to defeat you; they are in your life to inspire you and make you think differently. The only thing you need to do is recognize and accept them and get your groove back.

2. Never give up

When things get tough, and your back is against the wall, and you feel that life is against you, and you can’t deal with it for another second. Just stop, sit down and be still, and think about all the wonder in your life and never give up, because at this moment in time is when the tide will turn. I’ve had this happen to me so many times in my life. Now I know that when I’m at my wit’s end, the tide is about to turn, and like clockwork, it does.

3. Walkthrough the fear

“Too many of us are not living our dreams because we are living our fears. ” Les Brown

It is impossible to move forward if you let fear rule you. Living in fear deep down in your heart will prevent you from living your best life.

Create a vision board of all your dreams and goals. When you can see everything you desire up on your vision board, this will inspire you to reach for them and intend them.

4. De-stress your life.

I remember Mondayistis well, and mine was due to the dispising of my job and not feeling recognized for my passion and hard work. If this is why Mondays are so difficult for you, then start a plan to find a new job that fulfills your interests and who you are. Do something you love and will bring you satisfaction, and meaning to your life. Find something that doesn’t feel like work and makes you want to jump out of bed every Monday with joy in your heart.

Stress is part of our life and the role of being human. This doesn’t mean that we have to be victims of stress. We can work with our fears, change them, and try to understand why they are in our lives. Meditate and clear your blockages, ask your angels and guides for direction and support. Make room for more harmony and positive energies to come into your life so you can grow and gain more wisdom and compassion.

5. Healing and happiness bring success

Happiness and peace are the keys to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.

Don’t be discouraged just because you are not where you want to be in your career or life. Focus on the authentic YOU, and the hear and now. Give thought to all things that are going RIGHT for you, and healing, happiness, and success will follow.

💝Prue’s Monday Mantra: ” I love myself. I love my life. I love my work. I love Mondays.”

Love you,

Good morning, lovely you!

As we feel the emotional demands stacking up, it's more important than ever to set aside time to meditate and center oneself.
Sort through your priorities. Decide what you want to pursue, or how you want to handle something that's been bothering you.

If the family house is too busy and hectic, try escaping to a place outside for a bit. Go for a walk, lie down in a dark room, whatever you need to do to let your brain quiet down for a bit and really reflect

It's the first day of December!
Christmas music is absolutely everywhere, and folks are calling it "the season of giving."

We don't always have to give material gifts - spending quality time with someone, reaching out, offering support - those are also ways to give to your family and friends. They're important parts of a relationship!

You can't always have a good day.
The world won't always line up to put you at an advantage.
But you can always face a bad day with a good attitude, and in good faith.

When you are overwhelmed, overstimulated, rushing around panicking and feeling guilty for not being productive enough or good enough.... those are the times when the most PRODUCTIVE thing you can do is take a break to relax.

It's very rare that we can do our best work when panicking, and rushed work means more mistakes and more 'doing things ever' which will end up costing you more time than if you had just carefully and slowly done the work the first time.

When you feel frazzled, overwhelmed - take a short break to take some centering breaths.
Take a break to relax your body.
Take a break to let the buzzing storm in your brain cool off to let you THINK.
Pet a cat, or step outside to listen to the wind.

I'll say it again:
Sometimes, the most productive thing you can do is to REST.
